SAY YES TO
THE BIGGEST SHOW IN MUSIC HISTORY
I need your participation to kindly join me and over 3,000 of my dearest friends and musicians at West Fest on October 25th in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park as we pay homage to The Man, Jimi Hendrix and his fabulous composition "Purple Haze."
We will be breaking the Guinness Book of Records by performing "Purple Haze" for over five minutes with the World's Largest Guitar Ensemble - that's you! It's been suggested to arrive as early as 7 a.m. for the Big Fun. (Wink, wink.) We start the downbeat at 10 a.m. sharp!
The tribute to Jimi Hendrix will feature my brother and partner Vernon "Ice" Black on lead guitar. Leon Hendrix, Jimi's blood brother and his cousins Henry Brown Hendrix, and Riki Hendrix will play too. Vernon Ice Black will be down front where you all can see and be led by him. Leon Hendrix will be on my right. Henry and Ricki Hendrix will be on my left with various other guest stars joining us to make this our Proudest Shining Moment In Music History.
I (your fearless leader, Smiles) will be conducting from behind my drum set on a high podium in the middle of the stage. I will be singing with Ice, and making broad voice commands to keep us all together, in the hippest, groovin', and most loving of ways for the 40th anniversary of Jimi, Mitch Mitchell, Billy Cox, and friends playing Woodstock.
See you there in full Hendrix fashion and regalia.

Guitar Master Recording Artist Riki Hendrix is back! He is recording his new CD, He Is The Greatist, in Palm Desert California 7/10/09. Riki would like to let his fans know that he is recovering from his accident on 6/6/08 when he fell off a 20ft ladder and broke his pelvic and fractured 3 ribbs. He is thankful and grateful that God Almighty has given him another chance in life to share his Blessing with you through his music and to the world.
Riki would like to say thank you to all his friends for there prayers and support and most of all he would like to say thanks to his mother Dorthy and family and his beautiful Singaporean wife Jenny Hendrix, for her unconditional love and support on his road to recovery, I could not had made it with out her, thank God.
Riki would like to dedicate his album to God and to his wife and to a very special friend and mentor Mr. Buddy Miles a long time friend to Riki. Buddy passed away 2/26/08. Buddy Miles was more than just a friend to Riki he was like a big brother and took me under his wings and shared his love for music and taught me everything i needed to know about the music business. I am thankful and Grateful Mr. Buddy Miles for your inspiration you have given me that beautiful smile and powerful drumming and that golden voice from Heaven, and for the opportunity to let me record the guitar track on your CD (Miles away From Home), that song you wrote (The Change). I wish that everyone could here that guitar solo i played and dedicated to you, your wife Shirley and family touched my heart so much when she said that you would of been so proud for me, of the heart loving Poem I wrote for you after your passing away from us. You will always be in our hearts, for i know you are in a good place now jamming in (Rock And Roll Heaven) with the master himself, Jimi Hendrix.
Special Thanks to Buddy Miles and Billy Cox and Vance Sheppard for recording on my CD, Rainbow Gypsy Child. That is some of our best recording we ever did that was a blessing. Our prayers go out to you and your family and may God Bless and may your soul rest in peace. your brother with love, Riki Hendrix.
